Electrolysis is a proven method of permanent hair removal. Hair can be removed by electrolysis on most body areas safely including grey hair, and works on all skin tones.
During electrolysis, current is conducted through a needle that has been inserted into the hair follicle, destroying the hair growth cells in the target area. The target area is the zone within the follicle from the papilla (base of follicle) to the sebaceous gland. Hair growth cells are located in the dermis and subcutaneous layers, close to the capillary.
Disposable filament needles are used for each treatment.
